Hume Lake is a great family campground owned by the U.S. Forest Service and run by the California Department of Land Management. The campground is well laid out with spacious camp sites. The restrooms have flush toilets; however, there is only one restroom per loop in the campground, so you may have a bit of a walk to get to the restroom.
